Treadmill. It is not for the Wheaties deficient. After going through and deciphering the enclosed instruction manual, I felt a sigh of relief in knowing that my inventory of parts and hardware was complete. That said, after a little tweaking and forty five minutes later the treadmill was up and running. Just a note that if users are storing the unit on a less then desirable surface, the two front feet can be rotated to level the unit. First off, the designers at Schwinn lose style points for placing the power button on a hard to get to area located on the front end of the base. The easy to read, illuminated and multicolored LCD console is the nerve center that controls program settings, fan, rate of incline, belt speed, profiles, body mass index, quick starts and stop. It includes a menu for setup and diagnostics. The onboard course/circuit/pursuit settings seem to be a bit confusing at first. The manual adds to the confusion. Thankfully this model allows us to customize up two programs. There are a total of 16 programs. The LCD displays actual in progress workout measurements as well as end of workout results.

Purchased the pro form trailrunner 2.0 Dec 28th. Looks great and functions appear that they would contribute to a good workout. The treadmill has never functioned properly since we bought it. After 2 weeks the the authorized repair company was able to stop by for 5 minutes to confirm that the treadmill did not work. The repair company ordered the replacement parts, but the parts are backordered indefintely. We’ve been going back and forth with ICON fitness and their customer service to have the unit returned because the parts are on indefinite backorder. Their customer service line averages right around a 45 minute wait time for anyone selecting the option to return equipment. I easily have 4+ hours of hold time with them. Buyer Beware with any ICON Fitness equipment. They are suppose to arranage the RMA at this time, 3 months later. Very disapointed.

My boyfriend and I purchased The T 12.80 to give us another option to the gym. There are just days when you don’t feel like getting dressed, packing your gym bag and driving to the gym. The convenience of having such a versatile piece of cardio equipment in your home, gives you no excuse not to exercise. Plus instead of just sitting on the couch watching a news program or one of my TV shows (or even a movie), now I can exercise while doing the same. It’s just that much easier. The machine is VERY heavy. It took two grown men (and my BF is quite strong) to get this into our home. The assembly didn’t take very long, and we were up and running (no pun intended;0) in no time. There was an issue with the belt (It was off-center). However, after having a service technician come out, all was well.

I bought this treadmill on-line. The instructions were easy to follow for assembly. The workouts are great with the incline of up to 40% grade and decline to a a -6%. The IPOD attachment works great and, I was impressed with the speaker system sound quality. I do not have the IFIT attachment yet, but am going to purchase it to use the google map feature to create my own running workouts. Overall seems to be a durable commercial grade treadmill that I am am hoping will last for many years to come.
