I bought this winch a couple months ago to mount on a work truck. After installation found out the solenoid was bad. The supplier sent a new one promptly. After installing replacement solenoid the winch worked just fine. Have done a couple self recoveries in a loaded one ton and had no problems. Recently winched out a 14″ diameter tree off a slope, stump and all. That impressed me. Granted this tree had some root decay (armilaria fungi)never the less, it just about lifted the truck up off the ground…For the money, definitely satisfied and would likely buy another if needed. Will update after a year…
