I was concerned before I bought this that the arm cycle would not offer resistance. One other reviewer had mentioned that. You do get adjustable resistance but only when using it alone and not pedaling the bike at the same time. I wish the arm cycle offered more resistance than it does but after several minutes of use you can feel it working and you can raise your heart rate quite easily. This unit would be great for someone with bad knees who has trouble using a treadmill. This is the only decent arm cycle I found and with my knee problems I use that feature much more than the bicycle. The recumbent seat is very comfortable and easy to adjust front and back. I am 6’3″ and have no problems with the seat adjustment. There are the side handles you can hold onto while using the bike. There is no cup holder as some have mentioned. Easy assembly and the funky tools they give you do work but if you had a 13mm & 15mm socket and ratchet it speeds up assembly time considerably. Look for a deal that offers free shipping because without that, it is $70.00 to ship, ouch!
